A mobile exchange office and a mobile operator arrive – it is the best moment to buy the SIM card with internet and exchange money to shillings (sometimes exchange is later at the next day at Forodhani). The cost of the card activation is 15 – 25$. Start of Safari Blue – trip to the south islands (Menai Bay, Kwale Island).
11:00 Sailing around the archipelago and sandbanks

DAY 3 (15 NM ~ 3h)

Night cruise to Saadani.

DAY 4 (130 km ~ 8h)

8:00 Start of a trip (pick up from the beach)

11:00-15:00 Boat crossing (crocodiles, hippos). Packed lunch on the boat
15:00 – 18:00 Game drive (slowly back to the yacht)
~ 18:00 Return.
Night cruise to Kendwa.
Safari Saadani

Safari trip is not part of the charter package – it is an additional attraction that we strongly encourage you to visit. We offer a Safari tour which includes a boat river crossing where you will have the opportunity to see hippos, crocodiles and unusual types of birds. While the game drive will let you see lions, giraffes, elephants and many other wild animals. Trip include:

DAY 5 Tumbatu / Nungwi / Kendwa (35 NM ~ 5h)

8:00 Breakfast. Departure to Kendwa island on the north.

DAY 6 Mnemba (35 NM ~ 5h)

Relaxing day on the lagoon, snorkeling.
Optional. You can dive with a bottle here and fish with the local fisherman (reservations at least day before).
Tumbatu / Nungwi / Kendwa

Night cruise to Saadani.

DAY 7

Stone Town / Spice farm
Trip plan:

10:00 Departure from the Kendwa hotel around. Spice plantation (approx. 2 hours)

13.00 Arrive in Stone Town around

18.30 – 19.00 Sightseeing in Stone Town: Town streets, old post office, House of Miracles, Forodhani gardens, Old Fort, Zanzibar door, Freddie Mercury house, Jaws Corner, Catholic Church, time for possible shopping. Return to the yacht around.

How to prepare for the trip:
When choosing to visit the city, please take into account the fact that in Zanzibar the vast majority of residents are Muslims. In tourist areas, less formal dress is required, but when visiting the city, remember to cover your shoulders and avoid wearing too little clothes. We will be walking a lot on this tour – please bring comfortable footwear. There will be quite a few young children in the spice plantation. If you have any sweets, take them with you – they will definitely be useful! (5000 Tsh – 10 000Tsh is a good tip for the guide!)
